by Barbara Lewis 3. February 2011 12:15

Bad weather on Groundhog Day failed to dampen the spirits at Luther Manor in Saginaw, where the annual groundhog hunt was in full swing. Residents exhanged their “groundhog sticks” for candy treats. Champion hunter Loretta Durst, who found 26 sticks, won a stuffed groundhog.  The photo shows Courtney Robishaw, census development coordinator, presenting Loretta with her prize.
