Luther Manor gets a new bus

by Barbara Lewis 6. April 2011 12:29

After three long years, prayers, donations and a little extra budget funding enabled the good folks at Luther Manorin Saginaw to fulfill their wish for a new bus. The 23-foot vehicle can seat 12. The interior can be reconfigured into various designs to accommodate wheelchairs and seats. Helen Lockwood had the honor of being the first resident to travel in the new vehicle. With her in the photo are social worker Cindy Williamson (left), and certified nurse aide Becky Vasold. Luther Manor thanks everyone who has participated in the “Bus Prayer Circle” and the many donor who contributed to the project.
