Donations of goods and services are always welcome at Lutheran Social Services. We accept both new and gently used household items and furniture for refugee resettlement. Scroll down to see what the center nearest to you is currently accepting.

serving Metro Detroit and the Ann Arbor area The Southfield office is currently accepting:

• furniture (including mattresses, dressers,sofas, loveseats, kitchen tables, dining chairs,end tables, lamps)
• household items (including bedding, pots and pans, utensils, small appliances)
• toiletries (including shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, soap bars, etc)
• vehicles (Please see Motorvation drive)

Our Southfield office currently cannot store or process clothing donations.Please fill out this form to donate to the Southfield office.

 Battle Creek office
serving south central Michigan. The Battle Creek office is currently accepting:

• furniture (including mattresses, dressers,sofas, loveseats, kitchen tables, dining chairs,end tables, lamps)
• household items (including bedding, pots and pans, utensils, small appliances)
• toiletries (including shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, soap bars, etc)
• vehicles (Please see Motorvation drive)
• Smaller size clothing (most women weigh between 80-120 pounds and men weigh about 120)

Volunteers are always needed for transportation, assisting in orientation to US culture, English tutoring, job-searching, welcoming newcomers at the airport.
