Former LSSM refugee foster youth seeks to help his village

Jacob Atem, a former "Lost Boy" from Sudan who was in Lutheran Social Services of Michigan's Lansing-based Unaccompanied Refugee Foster Care program for nearly 8 years, started a non-profit healthcare organization and is planning to build a medical clinic in his native country.
