Rachel N. Enstrom celebrated her 101st birthday with a party at Luther Manor in Saginaw, where she lives. She was born in Pennsylvania on October 9, 1909. The Skuters, a well-known husband and wife team, entertained, and the birthday girl danced with family members, although she gave up her high heels a year ago. Rachel loves to wear lots of jewelry and fancy clothes, said Luther Manor Activities Director Nancy Abbott. She usually wears a butterfly ornament in her hair, sometimes replacing it with a tiara. Rachel is happy ,active and is probably already planning her next milestone birthday celebration, she added.
