Under a rental agreement, the resident pays a modest one-time, non-refundable admission fee. The resident pays rent monthly. If the resident wants to move, for whatever reason, he or she provides 30 days’ notice and can then move with no further financial obligation.

Under the entry fee program, the resident pays a deposit for the right to live in the community. The amount of the deposit depends on the size of the apartment. This fee gives the resident a lifetime right to live in the community. It also gives them priority access to other centers at MapleCreek if they need a higher level of care later on. In addition to the entry fee, the resident pays a monthly service fee.

Our monthly fee includes all utilities (except phone); the daily meal program for Terraces residentsl; housekeeping; full maintenance; transportation; fitness and exercise classes; educational, social and cultural programs; an emergency call system; and 24-hour staffing.

Consider the expenses that you currently have every month. This could include rent or mortgage payments, property tax, home owner’s or renter’s insurance, subdivision or condo association fees, utilities, lawn care and snow removal, trash removal, home repairs, housekeeping, transportation, and many other needs. At MapleCreek, the monthly fee covers all of these – and gives you priceless peace of mind.

We offer parking for residents and guests. At the Terraces, we offer garage/carport parking for an additional monthly fee. Each unit at The Cottages has a one-stall attached garage.

Yes. There is a transfer fee that would be paid at that time.

There is an additional charge of $295 per month for a second person living in a Terraces apartment. There is no second-person fee at The Cottages.

The partner who is independent can stay in the catered independent living apartment or cottage while the partner who needs care can receive it at The Woods or The Lodge, both right on the MapleCreek campus.

We have many different activities and hope there will be something that interests you. But no one is required to join in.
