Lakeview Lutheran Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation
Serving Cadillac since 1963
Committed to providing the finest short-term rehabilitation services and long-term care to help residents improve or maintain their independence in an environment of Christian warmth and hospitality.
Each Lakeview resident works with a team of health care professionals: nurses, physicians, therapists, nutritionists, social workers, pharmacists and recreation specialists. Professional services include podiatry, vision, dentistry, X-ray and lab services.
Activities at Lakeview range from crafts and holiday celebrations to exercise classes, movies and games. Pets visit frequently. Some Lakeview residents like to share their life stories with area history students or serve as models for massage therapy students. Spiritual activities are also an important part of life at Lakeview.
Schedules are structured around our residents’ preferences. Lakeview residents decide when to eat meals and when to bathe or shower; snacks are always available. Residents and their families participate in planning and evaluation of all aspects of Lakeview's program. A Resident Council meets regularly.
Rehabilitation Program
Many people are referred to a skilled nursing facility for convalescence following an accident, illness or surgery. Lakeview Lutheran Manor’s rehabilitation program is designed to get residents back home as quickly as possible. Our skilled therapists, under the direction of board-certified physicians, develop individualized care plans for each resident. Lakeview residents can concentrate on regaining strength, without worrying about preparing meals or taking care of a household. Read more.Memory Care Program
The Pearl is a unit at Lakeview Lutheran Manor specially designed for residents with Alzheimer’s disease or other problems causing memory or cognitive impairment. People with these diseases may be physically strong but unable to meet their own daily care needs. They may feel trapped in a shell, the way a beautiful pearl is caught inside a hard oyster. The staff at The Pearl have been trained to meet their unique needs in a safe, comfortable, loving environment. Read more about The Pearl.Respite Care
If you are a caregiver and you will be temporarily unable to continue because of your own health problems, vacation plans, out-of-town business or simply because you need a break, Lakeview Lutheran Manor can provide a temporary home for your loved one.Hospice Services
Lakeview Lutheran Manor staff work with Hospice of Michigan and other hospice programs to provide complete, competent and compassionate end-of-life care. Hospice care focuses on ensuring patient comfort and providing support services for family members.
