Lutheran Social Services of Michigan (LSSM) is a faith based, non-profit service agency. LSSM exists to serve as an expression of the love of Christ. We are grounded in a theological framework: God created the world; through Christ, God desires for the world wholeness, completeness and fullness; and through the Holy Spirit, God calls us to work to bring those desires to fruition. We are continually focused on those God calls us to serve.

LSSM's most important resource is our employees. Each position and job is important and vital to service. Because each job is important, each employee will be encouraged to strive for excellence. Not only is every job important in itself, each job is interdependent with other positions. Every effort will be made to function as a coordinated team at all levels with strong and sound leadership.
